Cuscowilla Fore Good Un-Classic
Golf, community, and generosity in support of Carter Crossing and affordable homeownership in Putnam County.
Building the Future at Carter Crossing | April 19, 2026
What began as a new idea quickly became a powerful demonstration of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose. The inaugural Cuscowilla Fore Good Un-Classic united golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters from across the region to invest in the future of Carter Crossing and affordable homeownership in Putnam County.
Together, participants helped raise more than $135,000 to support the neighborhood's continued development and the families who will one day call Carter Crossing home.
More Than Golf
A Day to Remember
The inaugural Fore Good Un-Classic combined golf, great food, live entertainment, and meaningful opportunities for community connection. Throughout the day, supporters gathered not only to enjoy the event, but to help build something lasting for Putnam County.
From the Community Beam signing to the evening program and celebration, every part of the day reflected the spirit of collaboration that continues to drive Carter Crossing forward.
More than a fundraiser, Fore Good was a celebration of partnership, generosity, and the belief that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home.

Impact on Carter Crossing
From Event Day to Future Homeowners
The impact of Fore Good extends far beyond a single day.
Proceeds from the inaugural Cuscowilla Fore Good Un-Classic helped advance Carter Crossing, Habitat for Humanity of Putnam's planned workforce housing neighborhood in Putnam County.
Since the property was acquired in early 2025, Carter Crossing has achieved several major milestones, including retirement of the land note, installation of water infrastructure, and securing more than $1 million in funding for the first six homes.
Homeownership applications will open this summer, with groundbreaking on the first homes anticipated in Fall 2026.
Every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, donor, and supporter played a role in helping move this vision forward.
Built By Community
Carter Crossing is becoming reality because of a community that chose to invest in something larger than itself.
Habitat for Humanity of Putnam is grateful to the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, committee members, donors, community partners, and supporters who made the inaugural Fore Good Un-Classic possible.
Together, you are helping create opportunities for future homeowners and strengthening our community for generations to come.
The Future Home of Carter Crossing
